It is with heavy hearts that we bring you the news that Bellingham Show will not take place in 2020 due to the ongoing global pandemic of Coronavirus. It has become clear that the impact of these challenging times on mass gatherings will not have abated sufficiently to allow the show to go ahead.
We understand this is very disappointing news for everyone involved, we are sure you would agree that the health, safety and well being of our, traders, competitors, members, sponsors, volunteers, visitors and local community is of paramount importance. There has never been a tougher time for our traders, contractors and sponsors, our thoughts are with them too. It is clear that the rules around social distancing are with us for the considerable future, we have waited as long as we could to make this decision before the show will start to incur considerable costs, we now feel this is the responsible decision to make. safeguarding the financial future of the show.
Bellingham Show is very grateful to those who have already booked trade stands with ourselves, our sponsors, members and supporters and will be in touch with you all by the end of May, we would ask for your patience and understanding as we work to communicate with you as quickly as we can.
Whilst we aren't able to have a physical show this year, we hope to bring you some fun competitions, acts and traders via our social media channels over show week, so keep an eye on our page for details of these coming soon.
We hope that you are all keeping safe and well, and look forward to welcoming you to a fantastic show, celebrating our farming heritage on Saturday 28th August, 2021, pop it in your diaries now!
Stay safe and well everyone.
