Where does time go?!! 2025 is already over and here at The View we had another busy year with both lodges being fully booked through the season.
We met some lovely guests who all had an amazing time here in paradise. 2025 seen much better weather than what the notorious year of 2024 threw at us!
We have just had some beautiful snow which leads us onto saying how amazing a winter stay here in our fully winterised, cosy lodges can be.
New for this upcoming season is the from-your-doorstep stunning walk down our croft to the sea and the beauty and wildlife found there. Surrounded by the sea, a strimmed path leads you through wild grasses and flowers which change through the seasons. Last year we had around 100 dolphins spending time, playing right in front of us whilst we were sitting on the rocks. Seals are always curiously popping their heads up and otters can also be spotted there. Make sure to look above for sea eagles soaring as they regularly pass by. There will be a map in your lodge to follow.

Long time, no posts! 2024 was a brilliantly busy year here at The View! Both lodges were fully booked through the whole season and we have now received over one hundred 5 star reviews from our guests.

After a much needed Christmas break, we are now preparing the lodges for 2025, making sure that we can offer the same high standard in comfort, style and service as previously.

We would like to start off by a few images taken on the doorstep and close by The Views lodges. We and guests have enjoyed some amazing wildlife and scenery!

Hello all! It has been a long time since we posted, lodges have been fully booked since April and we have met some lovely guests from all over the world!
The first post of this Summer should be of the day when over 100 dolphins entered the bay below the lodges! We were watching them for 2 hours playing and showing off, The View Lodges had front seats to the show! Well, almost, our resident seal had the seat in front!

White Tailed Eagles and Golden Eagles both live very local to The View and are often seen soaring above.
This one stayed around for a good few minutes the other day, plenty of time to snap those special photos to take home💙
