Heritage Walks Northumberland

Heritage Walks Northumberland Enjoy the great outdoors and discover hidden stories, walking with me as your guide in Northumberlan WHO AM I?

I've worked in heritage tourism for over 30 years and love finding stories about our nation's history. I enjoy walking in the great outdoors and have now combined this with my passion for the past when I take visitors on short guided walks in Northumberland. MY WALKS
Each walk is easily completed in half a day and they are accessible to most people with a basic level of fitness and mobility. They

all have a theme and as we walk I share the stories of the place as we take in the magnificent views and fresh air. GROUPS WELCOME
I have added a new bespoke service to the guided walks. You can bring a group of up to 15 and enjoy a walk from the list on a date and time to suit you. Email me with your choices and I will get back to you to confirm details.

The Drake stone, above Harbottle in the Cheviots. Left by a glacier during the ice age and the possible site of ancient rituals. Now a great viewpoint.

Wonderful weather for the walk across the sands to Holy Island today. After excellent coffee at the Barn at Beal and the westerly breeze on our backs our party of “Pilgrims” crossed at low tide. A unique experience.
