A Mischief of Rats art trail launches across East Yorkshire! 🐀

Discover 45 larger-than-life rat sculptures, each transformed by artists into vibrant, eye-catching works of art.

Standing nearly six feet tall, the sculptures have taken over streets, parks and landmarks across the region. The inspiration for the trail was Hull musician Mick Ronson. Mick is best known as lead guitarist with David Bowie’s ‘Spiders from Mars’ but his home band was ‘The Rats’.

Would you like to try out a new walking tour of Beverley with a foodie twist - FOR FREE? If you are interested in the history of this lovely East Yorkshire market town - and you also like hearty, locally-made food and drink - this might be for you.

The tour is called Beverley Bites, and the trial date is Saturday, 24th May at 10.30 am.

I'm launching the tour in the summer but would love to be able to take a few, interested people along on a practise run sooner, which will include all the walking, all the history and all the food and drink and be just as if it's the real thing. In return for joining the tour for free (tickets would normally cost £50), I'd want your feedback on the experience and also your permission for us to take lots of pictures and videos as we walk around the town, learning about its history and tucking into some tasty food and drink.
