I am a massive fan of the Severn Valley Railway and last night got to go on the Boogie Lights Train. It was so much fun and just one of the many events that the SVR run. We hosted such a lovely family over the weekend who were on a trip down memory lane. As you can see from their messages in our visitors book, Rose was born in Dog Lane (Hideaway is on the same lane) 91 years ago and her old school, which is now the Bewdley Brewery, is just a short walk away from the house. They paid a visit to the brewery where there are photos of school children, including Rose, on display in the building. The family moved away many years ago and it was an absolute pleasure for us to host them, we feel so privileged that they chose Hideaway as their base for their trip. Fabulous stories like this make our job so worth while 🥰🥰 ♥️♥️

We ve had some really lovely messages in our guest book recently from some really lovely families but oh my goodness…. We love this one!!🥰🥰. Our Dookie Duckie got out out on safari at The Safari Park!! ♥️♥️🦆🦆😝😝. As you can see in the second photo, he is safely tucked up in his usual spot at Hideaway, ready to look after our guests ♥️♥️♥️ ♥️♥️
