An outdoor ice-cream social was enjoyed by all at Newton Court, one recent and spectacularly sunny afternoon. At the moment, our grounds are bursting with greenery and flowers and Residents appreciated the chance to soak in the beauty of creation and have their spirits lifted by the sunshine, warmth, friendship and fellowship. The bunting was out, the ice-cream cart was set up with tubs, waffle cones, a few different flavoured tubs of ice-cream and syrup toppings. The little flamingo cocktail umbrellas added to the fun and frivolity. It was a great way to cool down and make the most of the Mediterranean heatwave, have a cheery natter and…relax!
