Only 20 minutes from Birmingham by train, Coventry is an easy choice for a simple city break, with cathedrals, culture, independent food spots and fascinating history all packed into one walkable centre. 🌟

Less than a five-minute walk from the station, Hotel Indigo Coventry makes a handy base to drop off your bags before heading out to explore.

Start with Coventry Cathedral, one of the city’s most memorable sights, where the medieval ruins and modern cathedral sit side by side.

A short walk away, Coventry Transport Museum is packed with everything from vintage vehicles to world-record breakers, while Herbert Art Gallery & Museum is a great place to discover more of Coventry’s story through art, local history and changing exhibitions.

For something a little different, head to FarGo Village Coventry, where independent shops, street food and creative spaces show off Coventry’s creative side.

From coffee breaks to evening dining, Coventry’s food scene has plenty to choose from too. Stop by Bean & Leaf Coffee House for speciality coffee and homemade treats, explore six independent kitchens at Elle’s Coventry, or enjoy contemporary dining and cocktails at Cogs Bar & Kitchen.

The best part? Every stop in this itinerary is less than 20 minutes from the hotel.🚆

Save this for your next city break.
