Just thought I'd post a few pics of my hols to Hua Hin, Thailand from a couple of weeks ago 🇹🇭🇹🇭

We stayed at The Standard (far too cool for me 😉) which was simply fabulous. As it was a short break, we mainly hung out at our private pool villa, but we also did some amazing excursions.....a street food tour of the area, then our last day was spent at the beautiful Monsoon Valley vineyard (yes you heard correctly!) up in the hills beyond Hua Hin 🥂

The weather was wonderful and lots of lovely memories made 😍

I've been busy, busy throughout March and into the first days of April organising your fab holidays. I even managed to fit in a little break of my own to Thailand 😎🇹🇭

Hi lovely customers! Just letting you know that I'm off on my hols from tomorrow 21st March, returning Monday 30th March 😎.

For once, I have no clients in resort 😅 so I'll be making the most of the opportunity to have some R&R and a "proper" week off!

If there's anything urgent, of course I will make myself available, but a 7 hour time difference may mean slower responses.

The Importance of Using a Travel Agent 😊

On Saturday, the shocking turn of events in the Middle East turned the travel industry on it's head overnight 😔

I feel incredibly fortunate that none of my clients were travelling in, or transiting through, the area at the time.

However, I did have clients travelling to the UAE this Sunday. Fortunately for them, they had booked an ABTA/ATOL bonded package, with a tour operator, through me.

Saturday 1️⃣ - I reached out to reassure them that I was aware of the situation, and was monitoring the response of the government and the travel industry.

Sunday 2️⃣ - Following the publication of FCDO advice, I reached out again with my plan of action for them.

Monday 3️⃣ - I contacted the tour operator to clarify their options. They were able to cancel their trip and receive a full refund.

Tuesday 4️⃣ - Cancellation invoices received. I worked through the day on suggestions for a suitable replacement holiday. The EasyJet Sale ended at 11pm.....so I liaised with them all evening, finally making a booking at 10.55pm 😅 for a fab holiday to Agadir, Morocco 🇲🇦

Now all they have to do is look forward to their well-earned holiday....and best of all - they sorted the whole thing with me via Whatsapp.

No call centres. No waiting in line. No stress. Just solutions.

Well February has come and gone in a flash!

Another busy month in which I split my "office" between Birmingham and the beautiful Puerto Pollensa. You can even see the incredible "Night Manager" house on the headland behind me 😍

Lots more lovely enquiries on my desk into March, but please be aware that I will be taking my own holiday at the end of the month 😎🇹🇭 so will be taking a well-earned week off.

Also, please note that bookings for this July are VERY busy! I won't compromise service levels for booked customers so, reluctantly, I will only be taking a handful more enquiries for July bookings.

Well hasn't this February weather been awful so far? 🥶🌧☔️

I am definitely looking forward to heading off to Mallorca on Saturday for some half-term spring sunshine 🌞

As you all know, I love nothing more than getting photos and videos from my clients holidays 😍

So imagine how thrilled I was when I got these beauties through from an Alpine adventure last month 🏔🏔

The clients itinerary started in Switzerland, with time spent in Bad Ragaz (famous for it's thermal spas), St. Moritz and Chur 🇨🇭🇨🇭

Then an epic train ride on the fabulous Bernina Express, through the Alps to Italy.....culminating in a couple of nights in Milan before flying home 🇮🇹🇮🇹

I think the photos say it all.....what an amazing winter wonderland trip for everyone's bucket list ❄️❄️❄️
