Do you need to renew your passport important information you need to know ⬇️

UK passport prices are increasing again from 8 April 2026 📈🇬🇧

For the first time, renewing a standard adult passport online will cost over £100, rising from £94.50 to £102. Child passports and postal applications are also increasing, and the 1-day premium service will go up to £239.50.

This is the third passport price increase in recent years, with the government saying the fees help cover processing and consular support costs rather than being funded by taxes.

If your passport is due to expire soon, it might be worth applying before April to avoid the higher fees.
