Great news! The Caminito del Rey reopens. The reconstructed walkway will however see the end of the challenging derelict route that was loved by so many thrill seekers in recent years.

The Third Year ATM students, Nicole Hill, Henry Quick and Abi Harding, who went to India have just sent me a selection of images from their expedition to India. Their route took in Amritsar, Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Goa, Mangalore, Kerala and Calcutta.

The third year Expeditions have returned safely to the UK. Chris Banks, Faron Watts and Roland Obernauer traced the Western Front as it was 100 years ago across Belgium and Northern France.
The following images were taken at the German and Allied cemeteries at Neuville Saint Vaast. The images show the enormous loss of life that this war caused, many of whom were of a similar age to the expedition members.

BRAZIL’S Tourism Ministry has removed from its Instagram feed a photomontage that pictures the Rio de Janeiro bay where Olympic sailing events will take place as a tropical paradise of crystalline waters — a far cry from the reality of its brackish, sewage-filled waters.
