Have you ever seen wood sliced like sushi? 🍣🪵 Step inside the workshop to discover the mesmerizing art of Taracea (traditional inlay)!

​This incredible 14th-century technique was originally used to decorate the stunning walls and ceilings of ancient palaces. Here is how the magic happens:

​The Materials: A beautiful blend of bone, metals (like bronze and silver), and rich woods including olive, ebony, lemon, and coral.

​The Technique: Artisans glue different material sticks together into a single block. Then, they slice the block paper-thin—just like salami or sushi!—to reveal perfectly symmetrical mosaic tiles. 🧩

​The Final Piece: The mosaics are laid by hand to create intricate geometric patterns on tables, trays, and even museum-replica chairs before being polished to perfection. ✨
