We live and farm on/beside HMS TERN also known as RNAS Twatt. Dave picked this little flag up in earth that had been moved in connection with making a track out to some of our fields. We are wondering if it has been here since WWII. We think it is Iceland’s flag? On doing a bit of research I find that there were a lot of aircraft regularly moving between HMS Tern and Allied bases in Iceland. Can anyone give us more information on this? Quite an exciting find!!😍
