WORLD FIREWORKS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

The competing countries have now been announced for the world fireworks championships which take place on the beach in front of the tower.

The dates and countries for the displays are:

Wales
Saturday 12th September. Build up 7.45pm/firing 8.15pm

South Africa
Saturday 26th September. Build up 7.15pm/ firing 7.45pm

Germany
Saturday 10th October. Build up 7pm/ firing 7.30 pm

Times are subject to weather conditions

These events are totally free to attend

The promenade will be closed between North and Central Pier and the trams will not run along this part of the prom
