The spinning seats on Icon, also known as ENSO, have been an upcharge attraction since they opened. This month the charge has been slashed from £15 to £5.

The reduction in price has seen a massive increase in demand, with the queue stretching out of the station for much of this weekend. Coupled with the very low capacity of only two seats on one train, this demand led to queues of 2+ hours.

It’s interesting to see just how much demand has been created by the reduction in price. That is compared to very low useage in past seasons where there has regularly been no queue at all at the £15 price.

Might we see a permanent reduction in price for this attraction given it demonstrably drives demand and therefore revenue?

Has anyone else been banned from Blackpool Pride Festival on Facebook? I assume it must be because I asked if Pleasure Beach gifted the Walk the Big One they did last year or was it paid for with Pride Funds. I didn’t get an answer and now find I am banned, maybe actions speak louder than words.
