Not long to go now until Blackpool Air Show ✈️

Taking place on August 9th and 10th, this is one of the finest air shows in the North West and will see iconic displays over the Blackpool coastline.

There will be displays from RAF Red Arrows, Calidus Autogyro, YAK Trio, Team Raven Aerobatics and a RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The free event will also have plenty happening on the ground, with a chance to get up close to planes, listen to live music, enjoy performances and much more.

It’s an absolute must if you’re visiting Blackpool this weekend 😃

This Love Parks Week, we’re celebrating all the great parks we have here in Blackpool 🌱

From award-winning Stanley Park to the other green spaces throughout town, this week is the perfect time to explore.

Stanley Park covers a massive 390 acres and has stunning Italian Gardens with ornate fountains and statues, the Art Deco Cocker Tower, a Model Village, rose gardens, open spaces and woodland trails.

Other fantastic parks to explore include Moor Park, George Bancroft Park, and Marton Mere Local Nature Reserve.

Our incredible Sensation Dancers have been featured on the BBC for their participation in Blackpool’s Capital Of Dance Festival 💃🏼

Capital of Dance is the world’s first, month-long, fringe festival dedicated to dance, movement and physical theatre. Throughout July, there have been live shows, street performances, workshops and social dance, from ballroom elegance to contemporary groove.

The Sensation Dancers were part of the unofficial world record attempt at the largest disco party on the iconic Comedy Carpet and what fun it was 🪩

It’s been an incredible two weeks so far, and we’re really looking forward to the rest of the Capital of Dance programme 😃
