An energy efficient biomass boiler has been installed at Ardormie and the cottage benefits from easily controlled central heating. The boiler which is fuelled by wood pellets also heats a drying room in the steading where guests are welcome to dry laundry on the large pulley and any outdoor walking or cycling kit. Outside, the cottage has its own terrace with garden furniture and access into the garden. There is ample private parking space just outside and a secure shed where bicycles etc. could be stored.
