Whoop, whoop......we have snow! and the road has opened.
Beautiful afternoon here, minus 7 on the approach to the ski centre with a blue sky.
We will need to move the snow around a bit to get some of the runs into condition but at the moment we aim to open our Plastic, D**k D**k and Rope tows tomorrow morning from 9.30am.
There is a lot of snow lying around the main buildings, carparks and roadside so please be considerate with your parking and use the main carpark which we will clear in the morning. The maintenace and pisting teams will be out this evening and tomorrow whilst the weather is settled to clear and move snow to see what else can open, and we will review our operations in the morning to keep you up to date. 🤞🤞 with the forecast of continued minus temperatures and the chance of a bit more snow during the week we hope we can get a bit more open in the coming days and we will update this as things develop.
Tickets for snowsports and parking for tomorrow will be on sale from the ticket office from 9.30 am, ski hire won't be open tomorrow so please bring your own kit if you are skiing or boarding.
In the interest of safety, please be aware that the pister and maintenance crews will be operating on pistes and uptracks across the resort and working throughout the day whilst we have the opportunity of settled weather to work and move snow.
It's cold up here so dress for the weather, our shop will be open if you forget hat, gloves, buffs etc. and cafe available to provide hot food and drinks.
