One of our favourite local days out has to be Landmark Forest Adventure Park.

From the Red Squirrel Trail and dinosaurs to the water slides and aerial adventures, there’s something for all ages to enjoy.

And the best bit? It’s only a short drive from Poppy Lodge.

Keep the festive feeling going after Christmas with a Ne’erday Treat on the Strathspey Railway 🎄✨

Climb aboard our Mince Pie Specials and enjoy a relaxed steam-hauled journey through the beautiful Strathspey in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. Settle into your seat, savour a delicious mince pie, and watch the wintry Highland scenery drift by as the locomotive does the hard work for you.

It’s a lovely outing for all ages, with free activity books to keep younger passengers entertained along the way.
