We are delighted to be supporting this wonderful concert at St Petroc's Church on the 5th Sept. Bringing together a superb sound, in a glorious Bodmin venue raising money for an important cause; Cornwall Air Ambulance

Under the direction of conductor Patrick Bailey, expect Hollywood glamour, American jazz, an exciting new Cornish voice and one of the most exhilarating scores ever written for the concert hall.
After the interval, the orchestra returns for Leonard Bernstein’s electrifying Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. A thrilling finale packed with irresistible rhythms, soaring melodies and all the drama of the legendary musical.

For this performance, Symfoni Kernow brings together its largest ever orchestra, creating a truly spectacular sound world worthy of Bernstein’s vibrant and unforgettable score.

Did someone say theme night 👀

Thursday 10th September

Join us for the first of our Autumn & Winter Theme Night: an evening dedicated to great wine & delicious tapas.

From 7:00pm, our lovely wine supplier Helen will be joining us to offer complimentary samples from our current wine list and we'd love to hear your thoughts. Tell us which wines you'd love to see featured on our Winter Wine List, and which ones you think it's time to say goodbye to. Your feedback will help shape our seasonal selection, and who doesn't love free wine?

Our specially curated Tapas Menu will be released soon, but bookings are now open between 5:30pm and 8:00pm for those of you who just want to go for it!

Please note that our tapas menu will be the only menu available on the evening for adults. Our regular children's menu will also be running.

Blackberry and apple crumble is my favourite. Plenty of blackberries around here right now, although our apples are very thin on the ground this year. If you come and stay you’ll find our kitchen is well equipped for all your needs. If there’s any extra equipment you’d like to borrow while you’re here, just knock on the door and ask!

Thumbs up if you love Blackberries 👍🏻

If you've been to Cardinham recently you may have noticed that there are plenty about. Typically Blackberries will fruit between June and October, with peak 'picking' season running from mid-August to mid-September.

This year they are ripening a lot earlier due to the high summer temperatures. With the plants beginning to panic due to a lack of rain, they are ensuring future survival by producing fruit as soon as possible.
