OK.... so you probably all know what I'm about to say. What on planet earth was going on with those ticket providers this morning?! Like the rest of you probably did, I opened my accounts last night on one laptop, my friend'd accounts on another device, and Paul had his on his phone.... the ONLY one we got through on was Paul's phone. And when I say we got through, what a PALARVA! We were 23,372 in the queue. Now, Heaton Park capacity is 80,000. We were hopeful. Not everybody would want two tickets and not all of them would have gone by pre-sale. So we waited and watched. Waited and watched. And repeated that. Paul missed his first train to Liverpool because we were committed and frightened the loss of WiFi would cut us off with approx 4000 to go! So it hit... IT'S ALMOST YOUR TURN. Pardon my pun but 'cue' me starting to shake...this was it! But no. It wasn't. What STUPID STUPID systems!!! If dates are sold out/only certain ticket types are available, TELL US!!!! We tried all options, like you all probably did, but not one option was doable! Absolutely infuriating!!!! So we are ticket-less people who have wasted a LOT of time (naive me kept clicking/refreshing when we got back from the train station and then after the BWFC match)....

Now that's another tale. Can't decide which situation is worse... wasting life trying to get tickets that don't actually exist, or wasting life on a football team who have lost the will to play... perhaps they wasted their morning trying to get Oasis tickets 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, I'm due some prosecco soon to release the stress 🤣🤣 and then it's back to reality 😥 it's been a fab summer! But back to work on Monday, back to HEALTHY EATING tomorrow morning and aw sort of routine.

The end is nigh.... we are waiting for our coach transfer back to the airport now. All a bit tired from the earlier-than-usual wake up call but we can sleep on the coach, on the plane, in the car 🤣

Just had a chilled day by the pool yesterday and a bit of footy in the afternoon with the family we made friends with - result is picture number 9 🤣🤣🤣

Crikey... I didn't post last night because I was too in shock about how expensive (Colin) the camel ride was!!! We actually felt robbed!!!!!! I can't even write it down, I'm too embarrassed! (If you want to message me to find out, I'll tell you!)

Today was an early morning start... a trip to the Manvagat markets. Bought the girls two cheap England kits for a tenner each and a tracksuit..please see pics! Bought them so we can grow into them...in two years at the next competition 🤣🤣🤣 ... also found myself a good England shirt. Tried it on. Put it on hanger to remind myself. Girls needed toilet. Forgot about my shirt. Left without. FUMING!!!! Guna have to seek an alternative cheap Turkey kit or pay in England! (That will NOT happen!)

So had some lunch in Side overlooking the ruins and then went down to the beach with our friends. The beach is hard work with a tired sand-covered child 🤣🤣🤣 we were all dripping with perspiration....man alive! So hot!!!! We had a dip in the beach and then all felt like we were on the sun, got a taxi back and jumped in pool!

We had our second Al A Carte meal with our pals tonight...yummy Mexican! (See last pic for sombrero sillies!) Now we we are sitting watching the entertainment.

Zzz feeling the tired today! Been a full on day in the sun... pool and beach bar but constant hot sun!

We woke ourselves up earlier than yesterday because I was cross I didn't get an omelette at 10.03 yesterday - it shut at 10 🤣🤣 got one today and was pleased! Then it was slob by pool until Aqua Gym 💪💪

Had some grub after the 'well-deserved' exercise and then back to the pool for a bit. Eventually we then got our FOAM PARTY!!!!! So much fun... a little tender on the eyes but powered through. If you can spot me on the last picture, you get 10 points. And there's another picture - if you can spot Freya, I'll provide 20 points!!!

The picture that is of Freya holding a doll... needs explanation. This doll was spotted on evening number one. We detered her from buying it on day one because we said we would go to a market and there would be a cheaper one... we have not been to said market... yet! So each night, we have had to check it was still in the same place that she hid it on evening one (behind all the other teddies!!! I mean nobody would want to purchase such a doll... it's a bit odd!) and she held me to the promise of "Let's see if it's still there on Monday" 🤣🤣 it...was!

And now it's now... they are in the play centre and we are I'm view of that and the evening entertainment.... it's a Michael Jackson tribute night tonight....IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

EDITED....I believe I put "slob by p**p" and no slob by pool. It is infact not true that we slobbed by a pile of excrement.... but actually a swimming pool!

Can't remember where I left off yesterday! But unfortunately the foam party didn't happen... gutted but it did mean more slide and pool time! We have made some friends from Middleton who we have spent some time with and the girlsl have played with the children so all good! Meal and drinks and play centre last night... cats galore here!

Today was a beach morning followed by some FIT lunch food (check out my stories/highlights)... I'm not normally a pizza fan but the pizza was GOOD!!! Then we mooched back to the hotel pool and all was going (pun incoming) swimmingly until GPC (if you know, you know) banged her head on the pool wall attempting a flip into the pool.... game abandoned and egg appeared. Don't worry, she's totally fine now tho (see pics for cat pic and candy floss pic!)

Tonight was the first of our Al A Carte meals at ... super service. We opted for Seafood tonight (my choice - Paul chooses Mexican for later in the holiday!) A lovely little restaurant on the beach and the food and wine just kept coming! There were some cats mooching around which entertained the girls whilst we ate (why do kids finish so quickly at meals?!) And now it's now and we watch the entertainment- some acrobats who are shooting bows and arrows with their feet... might move back a bit from the front!
