If you are affected by a flight cancellation and were travelling on a TUI package holiday, this means your whole holiday is impacted and thus cancelled. A message from MAGs concerning Manchester Airport:

We are aware of challenges being faced by a number of airlines and handling agents, which is leading to delays at check-in and baggage reclaim for some passengers.

Airlines and their ground handlers are responsible for their own check-in and baggage handling services.

Passengers are advised to direct any questions or concerns about these issues, or anything relating to their flight, to their airline, who will be best placed to respond.

However, this is not the experience we want passengers to have at Manchester Airport and we are sorry to hear customers have faced disruption.

We are in contact with the senior management teams of the relevant airlines and ground handlers to understand the cause of these issues, and to support their efforts to resolve them as quickly as possible.

Our colleagues are on hand in the terminal to provide assistance to customers and we are working hard to ensure security waiting times are as quick as possible.

It remains our advice that passengers should arrive three hours before their flight and to be as prepared as they can be for their journey through the airport.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER INFORMATION

Unfortunately this airline isnt making anybody smile at the moment !!

I am going to Honour The existing bookings with this airline, but until things change we cannot take any more bookings with tui unless customers agree below

we’ve come up with some solutions due to the fact it’s taking sometimes 3/4 hours after landing

THE SOLUTIONS
💥Customers are willing to wait until they’ve collected all there luggage before we set off

💥Liaise with us every step off the way from landing to collecting luggage

This has been a very hard decision but unfortunately it is costing First class airport services a lot of money getting work covered and running late on other people which isn’t the way we work .

I apologise in advance to any regulars wanting to book who are travelling with this airline it’s totally out of our hands

From Friday 22nd April, we will fully reopen Terminal 3 (T3) and these airlines will depart from and arrive into T3. Passengers should check-in and go through security in T3.

***ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS***

Please be aware that due to queues at Manchester Airport, it is taking passengers between 2 and 4 hours to get to the pickup point after landing back in the UK.

Unfortunately, due to these waiting times, we can’t afford to take the risk having them waiting for what could be up to 4 hours, all of our drivers will be focusing on getting customers to the airport .

All customers on there outward journey will be told about the procedure if all customers could liaise with the office

We understand that this may result in customers having to wait a little longer for their transfers but we simply can’t afford to have drivers losing out whilst having to sit and wait for passengers.

This is nothing less than extremely poor management from Manchester airport and is completely out of our hands.

We hope you understand the predicament we’re in as a company and as you all know, one of the many things we pride ourselves on is our timekeeping.

18th March travel to the UK changes
People arriving in the UK from abroad after 4am, Friday 18 March, will not need to:
take any COVID-19 tests – before travel or after arrival
fill in a UK passenger locator form before travel
This will apply regardless of vaccination status.
They also will not need to quarantine on arrival, in line with current rules.
Passengers who will arrive in the UK before 4am, 18 March, must follow the current rules as set out in the travel to England guidance.

💥Information for jet 2 passengers 💥

Due to the UK Government now requiring all passengers to complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) within 48 hours of returning to the UK, Jet2holidays have made an important change to your customers check in process.

Prior to this change passengers were being advised to go to the airport check-in desks to enable us to collect the unique PLF reference number. Only then would the boarding pass be issued. If your customer had already completed online check-in prior to this, a dummy boarding pass will have been issued and they were still required to go to the check in desk to retrieve their official boarding pass.

From today we will implement changes to our check-in process for holidays departing from Wednesday 29th September 2021. These changes will only be in place for flights departing from Palma and Paphos with more destinations to be added soon. Your customers will now be issued their outbound boarding pass only when completing the online check-in via Manage My Booking. Upon completing the required PLF (within 48 hours of their return journey), your customer will then need to log in to the Jet2holidays App or Manage My Booking (Trade Customer version) to provide us with the unique reference. Only when this is completed will the inbound boarding pass be issued. If your customer doesn’t have access to the Jet2holidays App or Manage My Booking, this process will still need to be completed at the airport check-in desk.

Turkey, the Maldives and Egypt are the of eight countries to have been removed from the red list from next Wednesday.
Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bangladesh and Kenya are the others.
And from 4 October, there will be a new ‘simplified’ approach, said Transport Secretary Grant Shapps, with a single red list and ‘simplified measures for the rest of the world’.
Also, from 4 October, fully vaccinated travellers won’t need to take a pre-return COVID test to travel to England from green and amber-list destinations, Mr Shapps announced this afternoon.
From later in October, the PCR day 2 test will be replaced by a cheaper later flow test.
However, some in the travel industry will be disappointed as there had been speculation in the national press in the run up to today’s announcement that far more countries would be removed from the red list, which has 62 destinations in total. In particular, there will be frustration that South Africa and Thailand remain red.
Tour operators must also wait to see if the Foreign Office removes its advice against non-essential travel to the eight destinations being removed from the red list before relaunching programmes.
There has also been frustration that Mr Shapps, who announced the changes on Twitter – as usual -didn’t specify when in October the day 2 PCR test would be ditched for fully vaccinated travellers and replaced with a lateral flow.
The Department for Transport has since clarified that it aims to replace day 2 PCR tests with lateral flow tests in time for when families return from their October half-term holidays.
“Anyone testing positive will need to isolate and take a confirmatory PCR test, at no additional cost to the traveller, which would be genomically sequenced to help identify new variants,” it added.

HI ALL... NEW TRAVEL UPDATE
🟢 Bulgaria and Hong Kong are now green list destinations
🟠 The Balearic Islands (Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera) and the British Virgin Islands are going on the Amber travel list from Monday.
🔴 Cuba, Indonesia, Myanmar, Sierra Leone are moved onto the red list
🟠 Those who’ve received two vaccine doses will not need to isolate on return from Amber countries, however, those who haven’t yet received both doses will need to isolate for ten days. They will still have to take a test three days before returning and have a PCR test on day two back in the UK - but not on day eight.
🔴 Mandatory hotel quarantine is required for anyone returning from a red list country. AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE !!!
🟢 No quarantine is needed for green list countries.
