Three caravans all cleaned this morning ready for new guests 🤗

Some are staying all week, some are here just for a mini break……

All different holidays are catered for, from 1 nighters to the fact that I have even got someone staying for 2 months over the Winter….😊

Unfortunately there have been a number of incidents involving dogs on the park this Summer, resulting in people and other dogs getting bitten or attacked 😢

This is very sad to hear as Searivers is a very dog friendly park…..

Warnings have been given that if this continues to happen, there will be consequences resulting in the particular dogs being banned from the park.

Can I please express how important it is to have your dog on a lead at all times!
Even when you are just getting them from the car, please be careful 🙏

If your dog is reactive to other dogs and is prone to attack, then please consider a muzzle.

I do understand that dogs escape and can get out, but I do have enclosed deckings so please take care to ensure gates are properly closed, especially when it’s windy.

It is vital that we keep everyone safe on the park.

Borth Beach in Wales is home to a remarkable ancient submerged forest, its preserved tree stumps of oak, pine, birch, willow and hazel emerging from the sand at low tide, a haunting reminder of woodland that once stood here around 5,000 years ago.

The forest flourished until rising sea levels eventually swallowed it, with the acidic peat that covered the trees depriving them of oxygen and preserving them remarkably well for thousands of years.

Excavations at the site have uncovered a Mesolithic tool, flints, human and animal footprints, and even the skeleton of an auroch, an ancient ancestor of modern cattle, alongside scattered remains of prehistoric hearths.

The forest is also steeped in myth, long linked to the legendary sunken kingdom of Cantre'r Gwaelod, said to lie beneath Cardigan Bay after a watchman failed to shut the town gates, a tale first recorded in the 13th century Black Book of Carmarthen.
