✈️ BOURNEMOUTH AIR FESTIVAL CANCELLED

It’s official – there will be no Bournemouth Air Festival ongoing.

The air show was historically reliant on BCP Council funding, which was hoped to be replaced last year by the new Accomdation BID (ABID). However, following an appeal, the ABID was closed and those funds are no longer available.

Without that support, the show simply isn’t viable. We need at least £400,000 to even begin the conversation about bringing it back.

We know how much this event means to residents, businesses and visitors – and we’re actively exploring ways to revive it. But without serious financial backing, it won’t happen.

Let’s be clear: this isn’t a decision we wanted – but it’s the financial reality.
