Advanced service notice:

11/11/2023 and 12/11/2023. Our drivers will be observing a two minute silence on both of the above dates at 11:00. Drivers will be stopping prior to 11:00 to esnure that they are ready for the observation. Please note that services may be slightly delayed and drivers will pull into a safe place to observe the two minute silence. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. SDB

⚠️⚠️ ADVANCE TRAVEL DISRUPTION NOTICE ⚠️⚠️

On Monday 19th September 2022 we will be paying our respects to HM Queen Elizabeth II. During the period between 10:00 and 13:00 we will be suspending all services. Please be advised that any service due to depart between these times will not operate. Any service commencing prior to these times will operate with enough time for our staff to return to one of our depots. This may see some temporary timetable changes. After 13:00, we will be resuming all services. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this difficult time for the country.

We are saddened to bring you news that Her Majesty The Queen - Queen Elizabeth II has passed away. This news has completely shook the country, we have decided that it would be appropriate for our staff to pay their respects and we welcome them to wear clothing that is respectful and smart. This may be for example a black tie, instead of their standard DLSS Buses issued uniform tie.

Today our thoughts are with all at Yellow Buses and Yellow Coaches, a fellow local operator. We would like to reassure everyone that uses any operator in the area, that we are able to cover the routes that YB/YC operate should the worst case scenario happen.

☀️🏝🏖 Have you experienced our Seaside Coaster services SC1 and SC2 yet? With breathtaking views across Bournemouth, Christchurch and many other wonderful places. Our fares are the same as the rest of the network, so no increased fares for Seaside Coaster services.

We have taken the difficult decision to suspend all services operating in all areas. The safety of customers, staff and the general public is paramount. We will be providing updates as the weather improves.

Due to the weather conditions, we have taken the difficult decision to partly suspend some routes or fully.

⚠️ Service 21/21n - Not operating.
Any service operating on countryside roads not operating.

Service 6/6n - Not operating in the area of Sandbanks, chain ferry also closed. Vehicles are rerouted direct to Swanage via Wareham. The route is as follows:

Canford Cliffs >> Penn Hill Avenue >> Osborne Road >> Station Road >> Commercial Road >> Parkstone Road >> Mount Pleasant Road >> Kingland Road >> Towngate Bridge >> Holes Bay Road >> A350 >> A35 >> Wareham Road >> Wareham Town Centre >> A351 >> Victoria Avenue >> Rempstone Road >> Swanage Bus Station.

⚠️ All services using any part of the A338 Wessex Way not operating.

⚠️ Southampton City Centre routes suspended.

Any other routes that are likely to become blocked due to fallen trees or debris are being reviewed at frequent intervals.
