One of the main attractions of Bovey Tracey is its stunning natural beauty. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and countryside, with the River Bovey running through its centre. Known as the ‘Gateway to Dartmoor’, the National Park is just a short distance away, and offers many opportunities for outdoor adventures. Bovey Tracey is a charming and welcoming town with a strong sense of community. It has a range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as several small supermarkets and other essential services. The town is also home to a vibrant arts and crafts community, with various craft shops and art galleries. Each year it hosts the Green Man, Craft and Nourish festivals. Residents also take part in the Devon Open Studios event and the National Garden Scheme. This makes it an ideal destination for visitors looking for an authentic experience of Devon.
