If you need leaflets, maps, walking guides, bus timetables and souvenirs, then drop in and see us. Bovey Tracey Information Centre is alongside the Library in the new Riverside Community Centre, adjacent to Station Road car park. The Information Centre is staffed by a team of around 20 volunteers who have extensive local knowledge. We provide a single point of contact where visitors and local residents can access a variety of information relevant to Bovey Tracey and the surrounding area. Bovey Tracey is a picturesque town situated on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park. One of the main attractions of Bovey Tracey is its stunning natural beauty. The town is surrounded by rolling hills and countryside, with the River Bovey running through its centre. Known as the ‘Gateway to Dartmoor’, the National Park is just a short distance away, and offers many opportunities for outdoor adventures. Bovey Tracey is a charming and welcoming town with a strong sense of community. It has a range of independent shops, restaurants and cafes, as well as several small supermarkets and other essential services. The town is also home to a vibrant arts and crafts community, with various craft shops and art galleries. Each year it hosts the Green Man, Craft and Nourish festivals. Residents also take part in the Devon Open Studios event and the National Garden Scheme. This makes it an ideal destination for visitors looking for an authentic experience of Devon.
