Evening talk to the ladies of 'Braemar Quines' tonight, a bit of a stormy night out, but a couple of clear spells allowed a view of the Seven Sisters and Orion and the fine cup of tea and slice of cake after, went down well, thanks :)

Fine burst of aurora activity around 8 last night, high thin cloud for most of the evening but this still allowed for lots of stars and a good show. Visible columns and movement.

Comet Lemmon over Creag Bhalg. Frustrating week for cloud, but finally cleared enough tonight to get a good view.

High cloud didn't clear until after 11, so a frustrating start to what had been forecast to be a clear night. Clouds lifted, and although there was a bright moon, a strong aurora started to give a bit of a show to the north around midnight. Thanks to everyone who joined us tonight as part of Braemar Mountain Festival.

Clouds didn’t clear properly till closer to midnight, mild night with light winds Creag Choinnich giving the best views of the stars and aurora.
