💁 Just returned from the most ultra-luxurious escape in the Maldives with my husband—total bliss and pure paradise. And now… it’s straight back to the Indian Ocean for the third time in just seven weeks (𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝗜 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄—𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀!).🤯

Just returned from an unforgettable trip to the Maldives to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday – and what a destination it is!

Made up of 26 atolls and spread across roughly 90,000 square kilometres of the Indian Ocean, the Maldives consists of over 1,000 islands – each with its own distinct character. The atolls are natural ring-like coral formations that house these islands, creating lagoons of crystal-clear waters and some of the most breathtaking seascapes on Earth.

🍽️ Dining here was unforgettable. “Only BLU,” the underwater restaurant, was like walking into a dream—immersed in deep ocean blues and surrounded by marine life, it's surreal and serene. I literally couldn't concentrate on the exquisite dining experience as I was so distracted by the sharks swimming by.🦈👀

❤️ Ylang-Ylang restaurant was lively and elegant, where ocean views meet modern flair, while Gaadiya 17 brought a gourmet twist to barefoot beach dining under the stars with its stylish food truck vibe.

🌅 As the sun starts to dip, the island transforms. Chilled music flows through the air, and one evening, just as the sky turned golden, a saxophonist strolled in along the jetty—playing live as the waves shimmered behind him. It was one of those rare moments where everything just feels right. The Swing Bar is the perfect place to soak it all in, perched over the water with hammocks, cocktails, and endless ocean views.🎷

📺 The popular travel-themed reality TV game, Race Across The World returns tonight for its fifth series.

📍 Starting at the iconic Great Wall of China, the teams will travel across three of Asia's most interesting and diverse countries - China, Nepal; and India in a race of over 14,000km to the finish line in Kanniyakumari at the southern tip of India. 🇨🇳🇳🇵🇮🇳

Tonight is our last night at the 𝟰* Oblu Xperience Ailafushi, what a fabulous stay we have really enjoyed staying here.

If you are a family or couple that enjoy a property with a vibe then this one could be for you, offering a varied choice of room types that suits all party sizes and boasts a short speedboat transfer from Male airport of just 15 minutes it was perfect 👏

We have stayed 4 nights in a beach villa with our own private terrace and direct access to the beach. (Where we were snorkeling daily and even swam with a black tip shark) 🦈 🐠 🤿

Today we finished the day with a dolphin cruise and were blessed to be joined by a pod of Flippers doing all kinds of tricks as the sun set 🐬 🐬 🐬

Tomorrow we move to the neighbouring Adult Only 5* island not too far to travel as it's adjoined by a 270m walkway, so a short buggy ride.
