☀️ A beautiful sunny morning here at South Barlogan Farm! ☀️

What a welcome change after yesterday’s rain! 🌧️ All the animals are fed, happy and enjoying having a little sunshine on their backs. 🐑🦙🐔🦆

And a lovely sight this morning — a flock of geese flying overhead, heading off to sunnier climates. 🪿✈️ Maybe they know something we don’t! 😉

☀️🌱 Another step on our journey to Net Zero! 🌱🔋

We’re delighted to have installed an additional 16 solar panels at South Barlogan Farm, helping us generate even more of our own clean, renewable energy. ☀️

And there’s more… 🚗⚡ We’ve also added an EV charger for our guests to use, making it easier for those travelling to stay with us to charge up using renewable energy generated right here at the farm.

From looking after our land and animals to reducing our energy use and carbon footprint, we’re continually looking for ways to make South Barlogan Farm more sustainable for the future. 🌿

It’s all part of our ongoing journey towards Net Zero — one panel, one charge and one positive change at a time. 💚

Six months into our solar journey here at South Barlogan Farm, and we’re so proud of the impact so far 🌱☀️

Since installing our solar panels, we’ve:
🌳 Offset the equivalent of planting 6,193 trees
🌍 Saved 6,174 kg of CO₂ emissions
🛢️ Reduced energy use equal to 761 litres of oil

A small step in the grand scheme, but a meaningful one for our farm and the future we’re working towards. Here’s to continuing the journey 🌿💚

The long-awaited sunny spring day finally arrived ☀️🌿

Spent the most beautiful morning at South Barlogan Farm, soaking up the warmth, blue skies, and fresh country air. The animals were just as happy as I was — hanging out in the sunshine and enjoying every golden ray.

Days like this remind me how special simple moments can be 💛🌼

We didn’t bring home a Thistle Award, but we did bring home great memories, full hearts, and—thanks to Colene—a bottle of Irish wh***ey (because of course we did - the irony wasn’t lost - promise 🥃😂).

Truly honoured just to be nominated and to be in a room full of absolute stars—the very best of Scottish hospitality. What a night! ✨
