…. It’s happening 🤫🤗😁!!!

After several crazy months of back and forth with planning and authorities, we are finally up and away with our renovation work!

A few months of work to do but we are so excited to finally be getting the front of our cottage looking beautiful for the summer time 🫶🏽❤️🏡

HELLO!!! First weekend of spring 🌼🌱🧹💕

The first weekend of spring has arrived, and our little cottage is waking up with it 🌿✨

There has been so much lovely sunshine through the windows, with lots of fresh air and the quiet hum of our little town 🏡

The garden is beginning to bloom, the days are stretching a little longer, and everything feels a little lighter… Spring stays are now underway 🌸

✨ Happy Monday Instagram ✨

It certainly feels as though we’re coming into Autumn thick and fast and it’s made me think about all of the lovely guests we’ve had over the summertime and it feels like wedding season has been in full FORCE this year🔥🤩

In Autumn time, I think we notice a change in the types of bookings and that people come and really love cosying up at the house and enjoying lovely dinners 🤩🥰

On that note, here is one of the wonderful dinner parties that we had the pleasure of hosting recently for our guests… something that we don’t advertise too much but details can be shared if needed!

For this group, the menu included:
🍴 A selection of amuse-Boucher (not included in photos as I completely forgot to take pictures - oops)
🍴 Thai tiger prawns with a grape salad (together with a few gorggggeous boozy figs!)
🍴 Sea-bass with champ mash, pak Choi, romesco and a lemon butter sauce (this was DELISH)
🍴 Bread and butter pudding with homemade crème anglais
🍴 Coconut and rum truffles

The food went down a storm and I’m so lucky that our guests gave me such free rein to cook anything I had in my mind…. 😂🥹🤩

SPRING HAS SPRUNG 🌺🌼🌿🥰

….and WE ARE SO happy about it! 🥳😅🥲

We had a little hiatus in January and February, spending some time at our lovely cottage with our family 💕but now back to a bumper spring and summer filled with lots of bookings for weddings, parties, get-together and just good-old weekends away with friends!

For now, and before the busy times are upon us, enjoy some snaps taken today… It’s too easy to take photos when the weather is beautiful like it is now ☀️❤️🥰
