Model Farm Country House offers self-catering accommodation for up to 25 people across 10 bedrooms

The house is ideal for large family parties and sensible hen do gatherings. It consists of an imposing Victorian front addition to a 17th century farmhouse. The self-catering house retains most of the original features such as, high moulded ceilings, marble fireplaces and wooden floors. The Period furniture matches the Victorian features although a modern kitchen and facilities have been added.
2010 was our first year of business. Since then we have been continually improving the house and grounds. We have spent a lot of time landscaping the grounds, adding hundreds of trees, new flowerbeds, an orchard and a wildlife pond. We have also been busy decorating and updating the main house and buildings and now have 10 double/family bedrooms, 5 en-suite and 3 bathrooms that can sleep up to 25 people.

As the sun sets on another week, it seems that the grass has become greener while some of the leaves are starting to yellow ready for their autumnal journey. The time for a cup of hot chocolate will soon be upon us 🌥🍂☕️

We really appreciate this lovely message with grateful flower drawing left in our guest book. It's beautiful to hear from the different generations about how much they've enjoyed their time at the house. It is a wonderful review - and the first of its kind! Thank you 🌻😁
