My name is Joanne Harrison and I am your personal Travel Counsellor for all your holiday and travel needs. I have worked in the travel industry for 26 years starting my career in an independent travel agency and moving to a multiple high street agency where I gained promotion to Store Manager and remained for 18 years. I decided to become a personal Travel Counsellor because I love what I do and it’s more than a job to me. I take pride in offering the highest levels of customer service and enjoy building relationships with my customers rather than just transactions. I chose to join Travel Counsellors because they care about their customers and that is the most important thing to me. They have state of the art technology along with full head office support to help me in my role. I am married and have a daughter aged 13, so I understand the pressures on family life and that efficient and reliable service means a lot to my customers. I love that I can work more flexible hours to suit my customers’ needs as they can contact me at any time of the day or night. I love my job and work very hard and I am always available even out of normal working office hours to ensure that I can speak to my customers when it’s suitable for them. My priority is finding the holiday which is right for you and I pride myself on providing excellent customer service regardless of what type of holiday you book. It is important to me that you are looked after before, during and after your holiday. I am here to make sure everything runs smoothly. I remember watching the one in 1999 from the Going Places shop in Haslingden where I worked, and just remember how eerie everything went when it was dark 🌒
