Some news from us!

After 2 years of van building, we are super excited to be taking a new leap. We’ve ridden an incredible wave for the past few years and just as it felt right to jump on it then, it feels right to ride the next one now. Change is hella scary sometimes, but so can be said for staying the same.

Simon has discovered an immense passion for woodwork and cabinet making so will be focussing on growing in that and it’s time for me to focus on and some Youth Work training 🧡

We’ve learnt so much more than we ever thought possible about ourselves and each other (don’t pay for couples counselling guys, just start a business together 😅). And it absolutely wouldn’t have been as fun as it has without such an industry of incredible makers around us. We are coming out a hell of a lot stronger, wiser and ready for the next adventure.

Our last conversion will be our last and we’ll be holding onto Rae of Sunshine for the time being. Thank you SO MUCH all of you who have made this chapter so great and supportive, now onto the next one!

The van holiday that got us into doing this full time was a 10 day road trip through the Scottish Highlands, and we couldn’t recommend it more. And don’t tell anyone who hired Rae in summer… but we kinda think she comes alive in the winter with that wood burner.
