Have you ever heard of Sam Phan Bok, known as the Grand Canyon of Thailand?

A striking rock formation along the Mekong River in Ubon Ratchathani, its name means “3,000 holes”, referring to the countless natural rock pools carved by water over centuries.

Visible only in the dry season (December - April), the landscape resembles a sun-scorched moonscape, with oddly shaped craters and sandstone ridges. Some say the holes resemble animals or symbols, others just admire the surreal quiet.
