The caracal, aka the desert lynx, is one of the most strikingly beautiful wild cats on Earth ✨

With its tawny coat, long legs, and dramatic long tufts, it looks perfectly sculpted for the desert.

With its rugged good looks, algae-darkened scales and semi-aquatic nature, the marine iguana is one of the Galápagos Islands’ strangest and most distinctive residents.

These remarkable reptiles are the only lizards in the world that regularly feed in the sea. With their blunt snouts, spiny crests and salt-crusted faces, they bear an almost prehistoric appearance - and even sneeze out excess salt after feeding on marine algae.
