The Old Sail Loft Brixham

Sadly we have suffered a large water leak, a pipe burst and hot water escaped across the ground floor.
I am working with the insurance companies on what happens next and to understand how long the drying, fixing and decorating process will take.
It's devastating as we put so much effort into maintaining the Old Sail Loft to provide great family holidays, but apparently these things do happen and whilst its no-ones fault its really frustrating all round.

More updates to follow once I know more.

We have just one week available during the summer season, Sat 23rd August -> Sat 30th August 2025.
Its Dartmouth Regatta Week!
What a great time to come to South Devon, you can see the excitement of the regatta and come back to the more tranquil Brixham after the festivities. You could even hop on a ferry from Brixham to Dartmouth and get the best views of the action!
With space for 7 guests over 4 bedrooms (no-one needs to sleep in the living room!) its only £165 a night, cheaper than a hotel with much more space for friends and family!

Sadly with the current cost of living crisis scammers are rife trying to take advantage of peoples desire for a bargain.
We are fully booked now until September, our official booking partner is holidaycottages.co.uk/ brixhamcottages.co.uk or their parent company The Travel Chapter.

You get cheaper prices by going direct as lots of airbnb listings have to pay a 15% premium just for being listed there! Use all the websites to find the right place for you and then before you book check if its listed slightly cheaper elsewhere (on a reputable site)! Don't be conned into a last minute deal that is too good to be true, scammers are spoofing properties on big sites to get your money for seemingly amazing deals. Apart from the odd cancellation we book up by Easter for the summer season!

Our Water supply has been in the news these last few weeks, whilst the problem continues in Hillhead and Kingswear, Here in Central Brixham we were never actually affected (although we were in the restricted zone for a few days as a precaution whilst they did more testing).
