Our Story

A Tour of Pendle Hill Witch Country with guides who tell you the story of the Pendle Witch Trials and other details of people and places. We have slightly changed the name of our Halloween tours from Pendle Witch Experience Tours to Pendle Witch Discoverie Tours. This is not a misspelling but is a reference to the book of the trial written by Thomas Potts the clerk to the Justices that tried the witches . The book has been in print for over 400 years and is still available at the Witches Galore Shop in Newchurch in Pendle. It is called "The Wonderful Discoverie of Witches in Lancashire". We felt that people on our tours discover the story of the witches and of other world famous people with links to this area, that we tell people about on the Halloween witch tours which makes our new tour name more relevant. Our websites however will remain pendlewitchexperience.com and .co.uk for the moment but this too will be changed later. We have successfully been providing these tours for nearly 12 years.
