The Kaaba has two doors — but only one is open today.
The second door, known as Bab al-Tawbah (Door of Repentance), was once used for exiting the Kaaba.

During the reconstruction of the Kaaba in Quraysh’s time, the Prophet ﷺ was about 35 years old — and it was decided to keep one door closed for safety and structure.

Today, the upper door of the Kaaba symbolizes repentance, mercy, and entrance into Allah’s house.
