📍 Next stop - Catalina Island 🏝️

I stepped off the tender straight onto the island and was instantly blown away by the gorgeous little multi-coloured houses. It had such a beautiful Caribbean feel. 🌺🌴
After a short uphill stroll, I reached the Catalina Chimes viewpoint, where I was treated to the most stunning views across the bay. 💙
I then hired a golf buggy and toured around the island, which was so much fun! 🛺☀️
After all that exploring, it was time to simply unwind in the sunshine and take it all in. 🌊☀️
Explored the quirky pretty boutiques 🩴👗
Such a stunning day in such a beautiful little place. 💕🏝️

Next stop… Catalina Island! 🏝️

📍 1st stop — San Francisco 🇺🇸
And so the adventure begins! ✈️
I flew from London Heathrow with United Airlines and was so impressed with the comfort and service. The crew served a hot meal, followed by two additional substantial hot snacks. There was also a selection of olives, almonds, crackers and crisps available should you fancy something extra. I certainly wasn’t going hungry! 😂
I arrived into San Francisco and was pleasantly surprised by how relaxed the arrival process was. US immigration was straightforward, and I collected my luggage in no time at all! Always a welcome bonus after a long-haul flight!
It was then just a short transfer into downtown San Francisco, and I was ready to start exploring. 🌉
I headed straight out on the traditional San Francisco cable cars 🚋, making my way down to Fisherman’s Wharf, which I absolutely loved. There’s something so iconic about travelling through the city on a cable car, taking in the streets and soaking up that unmistakable San Francisco atmosphere.
The following morning, I headed back down to Fisherman’s Wharf to see the famous seals 🦭 and take in the stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge. It really was one of those moments where you just stop, take it all in and think, wow! ❤️
And, of course, I couldn’t resist squeezing in a little trip to Target 🎯😂 Because when in America!
San Francisco was the perfect first stop and already such a fantastic start to the adventure. 🇺🇸✨
