One of the biggest Maldives decisions: all-inclusive or not?
Here's our take: The resorts are on tiny islands. There's nowhere else to eat. So you're eating at the resort regardless.
All-inclusive means no bill shock at the end. You can try every restaurant, order cocktails by the pool, not think about it.
Half-board works if you're watching the budget and happy to limit drinks or don't drink alcohol. We have some amazing half board plus options that include unlimited drinks.
But for most people, all-inclusive removes the mental load — and that's what the Maldives is about.
