Happy 75th birthday my beloved Peak District National Park! 😍

We're delighted that 26 churches in the Derby Diocesan Association will be ringing their bells across the Peak District National Park to celebrate our birthday on 17th April! 🎉

Situated towards the top of Sparrowpit village is Bennett Well, it is spring fed and once provided drinking water for the villagers and their animals. Nowadays just the odd passing dog stops for a slurp but it certainly evokes images of past times. 🐕

There are some guests that make you happy to be a host - as well as this lovely note in the Visitors book, the Heather family left me chocolates AND 2 cute needle felted toadstools - simply wonderful. 🥰
