This is Bryn y Fan, a 482m-high summit in Llanidloes, Powys. Not to be confused with the more limelight-hogging Pen y Fan (886m) in the Brecon Beacons, about 60 miles south. If you want to bag both, driving between them should be done at a leisurely pace, as you'll find many picturesque views and welcoming stops along the way. Which ones you ask?
