Looking for a fun way to explore Wiltshire's beautiful churches while raising money for a great cause?

📅 Saturday 12 September 2026
🕙 10:00am to 6:00pm

Join the annual Wiltshire Ride & Stride, a national sponsored event organised locally by County Historic Churches Trusts. Since 1984, Wiltshire participants have helped raise over £1.7 million to support churches across the county.

Whether you prefer to:
🚲 Cycle
🚶 Walk
🏇 Ride a horse
🛴 Use a mobility scooter
..you can take part! Participants of all ages are welcome (under 13s must be accompanied by an adult), and all denominations are invited to join.

✅ Plan your own route
✅ Visit as many churches as you like
✅ Ask friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you, either per church visited or with a one-off donation

💷 50% of the money you raise goes directly to your chosen church, with the remaining 50% supporting the County Historic Churches Trust and its vital conservation work.
