Views of the Gulf of Elounda and a mix of cuisines are in store at the Domes Aulus Elounda, Curio Collection by Hilton.

This modern hotel has an adults-only tag, so things are pretty quiet. There's a pair of cliff-edge swimming pools, so you can make the most of the sweeping views of the sea and the UNESCO-protected islet. And a spa takes care of extra me-time, thanks to massage and sauna sessions. Just so you know, this place's hillside postcode means the paths and stairways weaving around the hotel can be steep…but with those hills come stunning views!

A generous helping of five restaurants is almost matched by four bars, and the cuisine ranges from Cretan and Mediterranean to Asian. The latest addition to the line-up is the Amphiteátro bar, which offers classic cocktails and sea views.

This hotel comes with all the essentials for a peaceful, adults-only break. A pair of cliff-edge pools provide sweeping sea-side swims.
