The Mathematical Bridge, one of the most famous sights in Cambridge and one that never fails to provide a magical capture.

This is the only wooden bridge left on the river and dates back to the middle of the 18th century. It connects one of the newest buildings on the river, the Erasmus building on the left with the Presidents Lodge on the right.

These 2 buildings were built exactly 500 years apart and their juxtaposition showcases how Cambridge has evolved over the years 🥰

The view from Great Saint Mary’s Church tower is one of the best Cambridge has to offer and well worth climbing 123 steps for ✨

The church marks the centre of Cambridge and has been strongly connected with the university for centuries. Before the colleges were built, it was the first university building where ceremonies and graduations took place.

Over the years it has been visited by Richard III, Elizabeth I, Cardinal Wolsey and Oliver Cromwell to name but a few. You can add your name to this illustrious list with the Tower open again for visitors 😊
