Well, that was a dreamy start to Sri Lanka! 🇱🇰🌴

I’ve just spent my first night at the beautiful Uga Riva, conveniently located just 30 minutes from Colombo Airport.

It really is the perfect place to spend your first night after a long journey—or your final night before flying home. With so much travelling involved when exploring Sri Lanka, having somewhere this peaceful to rest and recharge before setting off on your adventure is ideal.

With just seven rooms and luxury suites, beautiful tropical grounds and a gorgeous swimming pool, this boutique property feels incredibly peaceful and intimate. Dining under the stars last night was a real highlight. ✨

Now it’s time to head to Santani Wellness Resort for three days of complete relaxation… stay tuned. 🌿

First FAM Trip – let’s go! ✈️🌴🇱🇰

I’m just arrived into beautiful Sri Lanka for the next ten days on my very first FAM trip, and I couldn’t be more excited!

I’ll be staying at four beautiful hotels, including Santani Wellness Resort and three incredible UGA properties, with Hummingbird Travel taking care of our ground arrangements along the way.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been given this opportunity to experience Sri Lanka first-hand, discover more of this beautiful destination and bring all that knowledge back to my clients.

Can I tell you something I’ve noticed over the years? ☕️

My clients often come to me saying that they want to go to Italy or have been thinking about the Maldives...

But after chatting for five minutes, we usually end up somewhere completely different.

I’ve realised that the destination isn’t really what my clients are searching for.

They’re searching for a feeling.
🌞 Maybe they need sunshine after a really hectic few months
⛱️ Perhaps they want quality time before the kids get too grown up
🌴 They just fancy a proper switch-off for a while

That’s honestly my favourite part of what I do.
I love helping you work out not just where to go but what kind of holiday you’ll still be smiling about years later.

Yes, the destination is important, but to me, the feeling always comes first.

✨ Just booked... South Africa! 🇿🇦

I’m delighted to have booked another incredible South Africa adventure for a wonderful repeat client.

They wanted to experience two completely different safari regions, so I’ve arranged stays at Shiduli Safari Lodge in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve and Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway in the Welgevonden Game Reserve - maximising their chances of unforgettable wildlife encounters 🐘🦒

After safari, they’ll spend a few nights in beautiful Cape Town, staying in the heart of the V&A Waterfront. I’ve also arranged private tour of the city, including Table Mountain, Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and the breathtaking Cape of Good Hope.

South Africa is one of the most incredible countries I’ve ever visited, and seeing wildlife in its natural habitat is an experience that never leaves you. I know they’re going to have the most amazing adventure. 🦁

Just one week left in the office... then it’s holiday time! ☀️

Next Friday I’ll be heading off to Barcelona with Ryan and some friends to sail the Mediterranean with Virgin Voyages, and I’m really looking forward to a week of sunshine, great food and making some fantastic memories 🛳️ 🌊
