The festoon lights come on, the firepits glow brighter, and the steam rises into the evening air… this is when our Hilltop truly comes into its own.

We are an all-weather destination!

👍 Don’t let the Met Office scare you away — it’s rarely as bad as they predict, and we’re experts at keeping you safe and cosy whatever the skies are doing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
💧 Our hot tubs are open-air, which makes the whole experience beautifully atmospheric in the rain — steaming away in the tubs or tucked inside a sauna.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🔥 Of course, there are covered areas too: the changing cabins, saunas, and our Hilltop Bistro.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⚡ The only weather we truly pause for is lightning. We monitor storm activity on three separate apps, and if a stroke is detected within 10 miles of PAUS, we’ll ask everyone to retreat briefly to the saunas or Bistro until it passes — it happened only 3 times since 2021 and lasted just around 15 minutes.

And yes, we’re open (almost!) all year round:

✨ A maintenance pause every February

Please note that fresh water is served in abundance to your hot tubs. Sarong towels, bathrobes and uv-protection long sleeves swim tops are available to hire.

⚠️ For your safety and comfort, avoid wearing metal jewellery or watches in the bathing areas – metal can react with the water treatment in the hot tubs or become hot in the sauna. Small items are also easily lost, so we recommend leaving valuables at home or storing them in our lockers.

💧 Please refrain from wearing heavy makeup, body lotions, or sun creams in the hot tubs. Instead, make use of our sun umbrellas and bring light cover-ups for protection when needed.

🌿 As PAUS. is an outdoor venue, we suggest wearing suitable footwear – paths may sometimes be slippery or damp.
