Pete’s Surf School is looking for an apprentice to help expand the business and ensure its long-term future.
The apprentice will be expected to train as a self-employed surf instructor, with a suitable beach lifeguard qualification, to take on the running of lessons and hire. This is initially a part-time seasonal role.
Some funding for training is available, with good rates of pay and access to discounted high quality surf equipment. Your qualifications will be international and could take you anywhere in the world.
The right candidate: you will live within easily commutable distance to Westport beach, Kintyre and will be looking for a long-term opportunity to improve and take your surfing and coaching skills to a professional level. You must be able to surf competently to intermediate level – enough to pass your surf instructor assessment.
You must be reliable, committed to providing a high-quality product and hard working. You will have proven customer care skills. A driving license would be essential in the longer term.
