The 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, Sarah Mullally, will bless the city in the Buttermarket on Wednesday 25 March at 4.30pm, just after her Installation at Canterbury Cathedral. The local community is welcome to join this special occasion in Canterbury's history!

Archbishop Sarah will be greeted by the Lord Mayor of Canterbury, Keji Moses, outside Christ Church Gate, where the blessing will take place.

You may have spotted that the Christ Church Gate has been recently unveiled in time for the Installation, after extensive conservation works, and is looking especially beautiful in the springtime sunshine.
