Grove Ferry River Trips Open Launched in March 2010. A new, greener, electric powered boat is available for river trips along the River Stour in Kent.

You will be able to pass through scenic areas of outstanding beauty unreachable by foot or car and get close to local wildlife. The quiet, electric boat will aid the sighting of many wild birds and animals, permitting close encounters. The "Ellen Mary" is the ideal platform for photographing the area and the wildlife. The new boat will seat up to 12 passengers comfortably. Why not enjoy a relaxing

1 hour river trip or book for a private “voyage” and then enjoy the wonderful hospitality of The Grove Ferry Inn at our moorings. Scheduled Trips from 12:00 on the hour till 4pm - GBP10 for Adults and GBP5 for U16's

The weather forecast for this weekend is looking absolutely glorious with clear skies and brilliant sunshine! There is no better way to soak up nice weather than cruising down the beautiful River Stour.

Whether you want to relax under the overhanging willows, spot local kingfishers, or bring a snack on the water, we have a seat waiting for you.

✨ What You Need to Know:
Where: Grove Ferry River Trips, Upstreet (right behind the Grove Ferry Inn).
When: This Thursday to Monday, hourly departures from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Duration: 55-minute peaceful country cruises.
Dog Friendly: Well-behaved furry friends travel completely free!

Wildlife Experience Trips Availability in May

Saturday 25th April was our first Wildlife Experience of the season and what a great night.

The beavers were out in force and were feeding early.

We saw kingfisher, herons, ducks and swans. We stopped at one point and listened to a nightingale and a bittern booming and the marsh frogs were singing their spring song.

May's Wildlife Experiences are filling up but we still have seats available on Sunday 17th and on Monday 18th.
