Even when I travel with my family, I always make time to inspect a few hotels in the region. It’s an essential part of my work, as I only recommend hotels I’ve personally experienced.
Today I’d like to show you a hotel that I genuinely recommend… although, like every hotel, it has its own unique features. 😉
✔️ One of Málaga’s newest hotels. It opened at the end of 2025, with its official launch in spring 2026. Everything is fresh, stylish, and thoughtfully designed.
✔️ A true work of art. Designed by ASAH Studio, the hotel features original works by Pablo Picasso and Joan Miró in the lobby, a striking mural by Marina Anaya, and artistic ceiling designs by Rafa García.
✔️ The rooftop is one of the most beautiful spots in Málaga, featuring a panoramic pool, a restaurant, a bar, and breathtaking views of the Cathedral, Alcazaba, and the historic city centre. The best part? It’s open to everyone, even if you’re not staying at the hotel.
✔️ ME Málaga isn’t just a hotel—it’s an introduction to Andalusia. From the complimentary welcome drink to the restaurants, which showcase local Andalusian produce and seasonal ingredients, every detail reflects the region’s culture and flavours.
✔️ One design feature worth mentioning: in most rooms, the sink is located in the bedroom rather than inside the bathroom. Some guests love this modern concept, while others prefer a more traditional layout. These are exactly the kinds of details I always share with my clients.
✔️ The location is hard to beat. The Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, the Cathedral, and many of Málaga’s main attractions are all just a short walk away.
💙 Planning a trip to Málaga? I’d be happy to help you choose the right hotel, share honest insights based on personal experience, and recommend places that are truly worth visiting.
