It’s with very heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful donkey, Sebastian 💔

Sadly, this week we had to say goodbye to him after he had been struggling with a poorly liver for some time...

He wasn’t just part of the paddock at Glynn Barton - he was part of the family, and so many guests will remember his gentle nature and the joy he brought over the years.

His best friend, Sweep, is understandably heartbroken. Donkeys form incredibly close, unbreakable bonds as pairs, so Sweep will soon be heading back to The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth in the coming weeks (where we originally adopted them together), so they can help him find a new Donkey companion.

We know many of you will have lovely memories of Sebastian from your holidays here, so if you have any photos or favourite moments with him, please share them with us in the comments - and let's celebrate the wonderful life he had and how loved he was by so many.

Sleep peacefully, Sebastian - we hope there's plenty of carrots up there 🫏 🥕

While most of the UK spent the Bank Holiday weekend basking in the current heatwave… Max was battling snow, ice, clouds and some of the toughest climbs in the country 🏔️❄️☀️

From the icy conditions on Snowdon, to standing above the clouds on Scafell Pike, and conquering the mighty Ben Nevis - Max has officially completed the Three Peaks Challenge!

An incredible achievement, unbelievable determination, and definitely a very different kind of Bank Holiday weekend 😅
